My neighbor always starts his Harley about 6:15 am and I am the only one who wakes up. I am puzzled about him. Every day he starts the Harley early but he arrives home in the evening in his Suburban. ????????

I guess I ought to add that I only hear him. Maybe he only starts the bike and puts it away again and drives away in his Suburban. I might have to ask him one day. I asked him once why he was doing yardwork instead of at the motorcycle drag races on highway 166. He said he would never race there again since he ruined a new pair of motorcycle boots from bouncing off the pegs in the rough track.

where is respect going? i passed a funeral procession today. it is customary to pull over and stop out of respect here. a truck almost rammed my car hauling but.

i hope when he dies , he gets tossed in the dipsty dumpster behind mcdonalds. hah.

That just seems to be a more common sight nowadays, Guppy... I suppose people feel too important or we're in such a fast-paced society, that we can't pull over for a few minutes and allow a procession through. Along the same lines, however... I was once road-raged by two idiots driving a hearse! :wah: I shut them up when i got out of my car and walked back and asked them what was up, though.

Really coincidental. Yesterday I was traveling south on a busy street and as I came over a hill traffic had stopped. I saw a motorcycle cop stopping traffic to allow a furneal procession to exit a church and cross the street. As I sat there I saw that almost on one had turned their headlights on. It is about the only way anyone can distinguish where the procession ends. But anyway there were some stragglers that had not stayed in close procession and the cop had left already. Some of them almost got hit as they exited the church. But for the most part people here do respect a funeral procession and they stop if they meet a procession approaching.

Not even pumpkin pie? Girl you gotta get one if you have to make it. You make some whipped cream and pile it on top and its heaven.

I have had some pumpkin seeds. Cannot recall if I liked them. I like sunflower seeds. We catch fish here we call punkin seeds. They have a shape much the same. Bright rainbow colors tho.

I remember that when we lived as students in England, two of the American girls cooked a thanksgiving dinner for us as they were homesick. It was excellent, and it cheered them up as we all tried our best to make them feel like they were back home, I pretended my name was Brad and that I was from Oklahoma for example. Unfotunatly the pumpkin pie was not very nice, but they said it wasn't a good one, but the toasted pumkin seeds were actually lovely, that was a surprise.

Actually, I really do not like the taste of pumpkin at all....just the seeds.

I think I managed to pass myself off, but it probably helped that they were drunk. God they were great girls, what a laugh we used to have.

I live in Oklahoma and the only Brad I know of is Brad Pitt and Brad on the cult classic Rocky Horror Picture Show. Heeeeeeee.
