You could circulate a description. of the rings. Pawn shops really don't want stolen merchandise. They get to much of bad name all ready.

Yeah, it's a mess. Our cobra insurance runs out the end of the year, so I've got to decide on the female surgery or a back surgery that could possibly take away my back pain.

I asked her about it last night on the phone, and her tone just completely changed. Plus, there is always the possibilty that they were missed placed...but that is highly unlikely. I keep them in the same spot all the time.

good luck on this one hun, don't know what to say, you have alread asked her, and even if she did take them, she is not going to tell you when its for her boyfriends bail.....when the bail has been raised, ask the court clerk who paid for the bail.

We may have to, but I'm not sure if they'll even take one without having any proof that it was stolen. And bless his heart, hubby was up early this morning and went thru 3 garbage bags looking for it. I might check and see if they can still do a report so we can send a descrition to the pawn shops.

you can do a report at any time, just tell them they are missing and you have been searching the house...which is true..you don't need proof of anything when its been stolen.

No, her voice was all high and hehehe until I mentioned the rings...then it was like she was very somber and didn't care about it and didn't say anything like oh no, really? then she started talking about my grandson and her voice went all high again and all la de da.

Yeah, I just don't know what to do. I think hubby is just upset as I am, he knows how much I love my rings.

Yeah, but after the begining of the year I'll only have Medicare and that only pays 90% and there is no way we could afford 10% for one or two surgeries.

You know, I voted for McCain but the one thing I liked about Obama was his take on universal health care. I have heard a lot of good stuff and a lot of bad stuff, like Odie mentioned earlier that she had a referal to a doc, but when two months of waiting passed, she had to get another referal.

I've been leaning that way myself. It's probably going to be the most expensive surgery and right now, our insurance pays 100%...and I'm positive I can get it before the end of the year.

The gyno doc I've been refered to it booked out about a month...I'm supposed to get a call today to see when my consultation with him is. So, I wouldn't be surprised if the surgery wouldn't get done until next year.

Do you know what sucks? I seem to whine and complain more than anyone else here. I know some of the stuff I write about is very important to me, but necessarily anyone else. Do you, my sisters, see me as a drama queen? The real problem for me is I don't bring any of this upon me, it's just bad circumstances and it's like it follows me. So please, you are my sisters and sisters are honest with each other....do you think I'm a drama queen?

Unfortunately, still no rings. Someday we'll be able to replace them and I have all the paper work on them with the SKU#'s on them and the appraisals on them too. Thankfully hubby was smart and took out a personal articles policy on them since our homeowners insurance would only cover $2000 of the cost. So they are insured for full value. They are so beautiful and mean so much to me, but it's just rings, and when we are able to pay the deductible, I get to get brand new rings, and if they no longer make them, I'll have fun picking out a differrent set of $7500

we're waiting for tomorrow. Her boyfriend is in jail and they've never been able to make bail for him. Daughter is going to the bond hearing tomorrow and if she bails him out, we'll know for sure that she did it then we're going to call the police.
