It was one of the vertibrae - "She has a broken bone in her neck, and that seems to be the least of the problems. The doctor said it's one of the "wings" on a vertebrae that is cracked - it will take time to heal"

Hello All. I just talked to MamaRider who said she had not talked to Floppie today so I told her I would give an update. MamaRider said BR had lots of physical, occupational and speech therapy assessment today. She is getting sick of people asking her the same dumb questions over and over. (Welcome to healthcare). Her head/eye pain is a little better but she still requires pain medicine. On Friday morning she is scheduled for another angiogram and placement of a stent in the area behind her right eye that was damaged in the accident. After the procedure she will go back to Neuro Intensive Care for a couple of days. Keep those beams, prayers, and candles coming. That's all for now folks. Criss's Anti

It's difficult for me to keep up but I try to read as much as possible during the day at work. I rarely have the time to answer and I often lose my place in my readings.

I am so glad to hear that BR is able to be up and around enough to do therapy. That is great news and a gifted step toward her healing. I'm sure she's frustrated by being on meds and off and on and off. It must be terribly confusing for her.

Her family has a special kind of strength to be with her all the time and still find the time to come here to keep us updated when they don't even know most of us. They are a special breed of people.

Much love to BR and her family and thanks from me for the updates and the care you have for us during this troubling time. I feel everything is going to work out just great, I feel it in my bones. Hugs and kisses :-4 :-4

Thank you for the news - for me, and I'm sure many others here, it is the first thing I look for when I log in.

Our thoughts are with you, Criss and the whole family all of the time and you have all the strength and admiration we can send you.

Wow, this thread has grown... far too many to read... but it generally seems she's recovering, from the most recent posts...

I'm not totally up to date with Criss's progress yet, but things seem positive.

Its just not the same here without BabyRider...

Ive been holding my breath this entire time hoping that she would make a speedy recovery and come back to voice her opinions, as well as thoughts, without me having to even post in this thread. I know she is doing much better and for that I couldn't be happier, but I cant read through another thread knowing that usually BR's thoughts and opinions would be there amongst many. I miss her....plain and simple....

My day will continue to be sub-par until I can speak with her again....While we may not have a relationship that runs as deep as many others here in FG, my heart still continues to weep, and I will be thinking of her until we exchange words again...

I wait anxiously for an angel who will always be as beautiful as the sunniest of days...

MamaRider bless you for remaining so strong throughout all that has happened in these few weeks. :yh_flower :yh_flower your truly amazing. Criss will get better I know this, I will continue to pray as I do every day for your beautiful daughter as if she were mine. :yh_pray

There is nothing harder than to watch your child suffer even the littlest of pain. Your doing great and I admire your strength... We are here for you any time you need to let it out or vent, we will be your shoulder to lean on, and we have some mighty big shoulders her at FG. :yh_hugs

Many Fathers also know & feel the pain of their children mama. I can/do imagine how very frightening it must be for you. Criss will overcome this!

Oh, dear....this made me cry! Poor Criss! I've been comforting myself with the idea that, being in hospital, at least she's relatively pain-free. I'd take that pain for an hour or two, if it were possible!:(
