did-din. Hope the wait is not too long, soooo many people here in Sunnyland!:-6
And I still don't see BR "in here", WHERE'S BR? :-2
(In another post she said she took her "bike" out for a ride! But she still posts, just not in here)
BR is sitting back lurking at all of us, watching us make fools out of ourselves trying to get TLW. :wah:
Sounds like you had a lovely day and topping it off by going out to eat! BTW...did ya get any pictures of the peacock? Beautiful bird and something one doesn't usually encounter on a road.
Pam's last FG word for the day - I reckon UncleKram's observation about the Okie Kokie dangly bits of a fellow FGer which inspired Betty Boop to burst into song and kick up her stylish heels in the pub here - gets today's prize for inspirational wit. PLW
Cars, Sojo, Basco, Theia, JAB, Koochi - Hey the gang's here, and this little, gentle, thread is always a peaceful one to hang out in.. Of course I do recall the time it transmogrified into a toxic waste dump, then a police crime scene, (didn't I mudwrassle someone in here once - oh well, can't be perfect all the time?), and then there have been a few shootouts (but always done with new age compassion and we disposed of the bodies sensitively)... and a psychedlic phase, the limerick phase......
Then someone (Betty Boop?) realised that tlw was in fact alive and probably in possession of an immoral soul and so took him/her/it (gender blends and related issues should be fought about elsewhere) out on the town (where no doubt he lost his 't' - Theia was no doubt to blame for anything involving that abominable brew). But I digress.. Everybody's maternal / paternal instinct has now been stimulated. Which is probably why we all come in so often to check up on his/her/its wellbeing.

You are so right, Pam. This gentle little thread is a safe haven for all who visit here. Tread softly, for little tlw sleeps
(Huh! That was fiddly...won't try that one again in a hurry)

JAB... I know only Tombstone and Anastrophe are completerly perfect. I accept that Mary Poppins was practically perfect. And really, I do come a very close third er fourth... but just occasionally I slip up a bit.. and mud can be very slippery. Theia... I see you're brewing up a storm in here.. watch it gal... er.. um.. pam wonders what an almost-practically-perfect pam would do... and then pokes her tongue out. But stylishly. As fer Nomad.. what can one say? .. I'm gonna take five and contemplate the nature of naivety ..... tlw
Dang it all I haven't had "TLW" in over a week, its mine I tell you mine..
ALOHA!!
MOTTO TO LIVE BY:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, champagne in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming.
Now, now Ladies !!!! Why don't I just do a King Solomon and chop tlw in halves - give each of you a half... Koochikoo can have the t and a v - now that's not bad is it?.. go away now and watch a few soapies like a good little aussie vegemite... And Carla - you get l and the other v. LOVE in text speak? Go off and shake yer booty at the next handsome hunky studmuffin you meet.... and she'll be apples.
Now ... finally ... peace!!!!! Am I good, or am I good.. ??!!! :sneaky:
Which to choose, Koochi... TV or LUV ??????? Silly question.. We gals are good at multitasking and would of course insist on having our little vegemite toast soldiers and eating them too ... We'd watch television and snuggle with one of our blokes. That's pam's last word for the evening. I gotta get my stylish dupa in the kitchen.. plw
Okay okay.. one more last word... on the subject of love and vegemite .. I got to thinking while I was cooking... and dug out this evil bit of verse I perpetrated a few years ago, can't remember what prompted it, probably a dare...

Tis 12.22 p.m. here, Koo...time for lunch, if I hadn't already pigged out on chocolate brownies from M and S.

G'day cars, Koochikoo, Sojo, Theia, Basco, JAB and welcome to the weekend. Basco - nice eagle ya got there!!! Beautiful birds. I'd never seen them close up till I went once by train from Seattle to Vancouver and there were literally scores of them on the rocky seashore. (Saw some seals too)... but as usual, I digress... and I haven't even had coffee yet.. Saturday morning in Oz... ahhhh..... tlw
