Last week my 36" TV went on he fritz. It would just shut itself off randomly and the power indicator light would blink at me. I finally got the time to dig into it this morning and after removing the main board and removing the dust and studying the board for a few minutes I found a capacitor that was misshapen and it apparently over heated. Hopefully this is the problem. I love little victories. :-4:)

Yes, better than yesterday. But I couldn't find the complaining thread.
Normal Holloween sugar rush-and the kids were over the wall-from fright. Triple shooting, one death, on Halloween night. The one teen died in my students back yard, they made them leave their house for hours. And the teachers wait in dread for the names to be released-the chances are the 3 of them were former students. We had to let them act out the scene, the bang-bang-bangs, to get it out of their system, so they could settle down to some type of normalacy. They were skittery all day long, poor kids. I hope they are better tomorrow.:-1

				Whoa, Chonsigirl!
What a Halloween by you. I can imagine how upset your students are over the shootings. Did they catch the shooter?

My discovery of a black market dentist. I need to get some work done on my back teeth. I went to my dentist recently and he said that my cost out of pocket would be around $2000. I had heard of this guy through my wife and her Russian friends but never paid much attention as it did not concern me at the time.
Today I went to see him for an exam ($25.00). He's about 50 and has a small office in his apartments 3rd bedroom. He has all of the gear you'd see in any dentists office except for an X-ray machine. Apparently all of the materials he uses are imported from Europe somehow. His daughter or wife (both registered nurses) are his assistants. He has over 25 years experience as a dentist. He is not licensed as a dentist here in the US.
He said he would do the work necessary for $500. I trust him, that's why I'm smiling today.

I beat the freaking system once again. Oh, I need to get a set of X-rays from a woman named Anna too. Just $50 for a full set. That will be tomorrow evening in her basement.
