I go on some Forums for a certain rock band i shall be seeing wednesday night, OMG, i'm so excited :-4:-4:-4
Anyway, they are FAN clubs and forums. I then see idiots posting critisism of them, quite harshly in some cases. Do they register and post merely to wind the real fans up? I can't tell. What's the point of doing that?? They wouldn't dare go to one of their gigs and do it to the fans faces. :-5

Thanks for the heads up everyone.
Especially the above; I stupidly wasn't aware of this nasty habit some might have.
I take people at face value usually until shown otherwise. Here though since we can't read people's facial expressions alot of caution is needed, to state the obvious. First day posting here the ugly reared its head right off the bat (I think most here are nice though.)

I have always heard "KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS" Now that i am older. HAH! why waste my time and effort on someone. who has no regards on anyone's feelings. So this person had a rough childhood. A Lot people did. No excuse:mad:

And as for PM... well.... if you don't put out the nasties babe, you wont be worried about them coming back to smack you in the face will you hunny

I try to treat people with the same attitude and the same way that I would like to be treated...however, if I someone pokes me in the eye because they're having a bad day, I will get in their space and make them uncomfortable. We live in a larger town on the east coast of Mexico and the attitude here is everyone for themselves, coming from Canada... lol well, we're still adjusting. I know it's small to some...but in a crowded supermarket, I hate nasty people who leave a full shopping cart in the middle of the aisle and walk away from it...if I see who it is... they get it pushed into the back of their legs or I tell them to move it they're not the only ones in here... I know it's awful...but.... I think it's just ignorant.

It was interesting reading this thread and seeing some of the not so pleasant members claiming that they're 'always nice' when I've seen them act like complete assholes in here.
I'd rather have someone just talk to me in a polite, reasonable manner than try to be fake charming.

I agree! I worked with a boss one time that when they answered the phone they were all nice and drippy etc... but as soon as they hung up...they always has secondary comments to who they were just talking to... like " That's what you think" or "So who do you think you are?" anyway the point is here is, you knew **** well that when she hung up from talking to you, you got the once over as well. Just bad management and bad manners, especially when someone else was in the room who sooner or later had to talk to them.

I try to avoid being nice to anyone. I hate to raise false expectations.

Even the word bugs me. I say "that's nice" more as sarcasm than anything else. But I'm usually polite, so I feel okay about my non-niceness.
