Hasn´t been very warm here at all and very little sunshine. Walked a couple of miles this morning then all of a sudden, the sun popped out. Caught a cab pronto and headed to the local beach for some rays and topping up on Vitamin D.

Went swimming in the sea which was so cold that I had to keep feeling to see if the dangly bits were still there

Me and Lee are going to Paris for 2 nights on Valentines day. Everywhere should be nice and cheap, and the restaurants will probably be empty. :rolleyes:

In Paris, romance is never dead

We chose Paris for our honeymoon and to renew our promises.

I suppose in some ways Paris is a bit like a European beach. You're bound to get an Eiffel.

I'm off to Spain on Sunday. Going to Nerja on the Costa Del Sol. Haven't been there for 18 years but I hear it's still unspoilt. I hope so.

The last time I went, I saw a flasher. Senor Willy I think his name was.

Lee hasn't heard me speak Spanish yet so it should be a laugh.

On Sunday , the countdown to our wedding starts at 200 days to go, but who's counting?....oh...er..me apparently.

Oh you lucky dog you! Would give my right arm to go to Spain or anywhere out of this country.:wah:

Hola mis amigos :-6 - I'm back from my Andalucian meanderings. Here are some pix in Nerja, including the Nerja caves, Malaga, Granada, including the Alhambra Palace and the very picturesque Frigiliana. Pretty hot as you can see from the pix, and the weather was quite warm as well :D

Nah, I would just love to go to another country:D with my arm intact.

Off to the Greek island of Corfu (Kekyra) in the morning with Lee, my son and my daughter. I hear it's about 100° at the moment.

Looks like another outing for my knotted handkerchief :-6. Well I am English after all......
