No Oklahoma is more like Texas somewhat, I wouldn't say it's very much like the South at all.

We have a "Car" program on Tele called Top Gear. During the last series the three twits who present it tried to drive through Alabama in tat cars daubed with slogans calculated to distrub the more excitable element of society - they thought it was a joke.
Needless to say, they ran away and cleaned the cars after the first fuel stop - the pilloks were lucky to survive the experience!

I haven't seen that episode yet but rom the sound of it was it not a bit of a put up job? Bit like the one with the caravan where they set fire to one. I find it hard to credit americans are actually that psychotic.

Unfortunatly those macho grey American squirrels have chased off a lot of our more timid red ones, since they first arrived on European shores, (bloody yanks) but apparently there is a bit of a fight back going on, its more dangerous than you might thing, the world of squirrels, that is.

It appeared fairly genuine but who knows - I wouldn't put it past them.
Certainly the subjects they chose, homosexuallity, politics and religion were calculated to upset as many people as possible as quickly as possible.

My grateful memories of Americans will go to the grave with me , a lot of the sons of America died with the sons of the UK and The Commonwealth helping to rid Europe of the Nazis in WW2.
Sure there are some bad ones the same as everywhere else , as far as I am concerned I like the American people

I would like to second that, barring the few, the American people are good folk.
