This is a really fun thread. :)

I can't get my Sound Recorder to record anything. It's been years since I've used it, maybe I've forgotten how. What is everyone else using to record??

I just used the sound recorder in windows, it should work unless there is a little bug in your OS or something, you can just download some other free recorder I'm sure there are loads of them, we want more american accents on this thing!

Sorry, Canada, I love you, but you do sound a lot like Americans. Some are different though.

I must admit that when I first went to Glasgow I found it hard to tell whether people wanted to beat me up or be my friend, I got used to it though, and most of the tissue damage wasn't permanet. Nah, Glasgi is a great town, but I was a bit afraid of the little old woman in the sweet shop the first day.

It's the east coast canadians that really have the strongest "canadian accent"

That one was confusing, it was a bit american and bit home counties england I think? Or maybe that is what makes Canadian accents different, oh I'm not sure. Nice voice though.

That is the confusion, you are correct. Canadians have a bit more brit in their dialects and the americans exaggerate it by saying "hoose" etc. when they imitate.
