Oh Cars I have not forgot about you, just slow going through all this, thank you thank you yes time is a great healer, and bandaids, I remember my kids always thought the pain could be erased with a band aid, I believe I will go put on on my finger for a little boost.

Thank you Cars.

It doesn't matter how old you are or how well you think you should be able to handle things, it still pullls you apart when you go your own ways.

Things will get that bit easier every day. Do you have a close friend that can come and stay for a day or two? Sometimes it's a comfort just to have someone around.

If I lived near you, I'd be on your doorstep right now with a humungous pile of choccies and ice-cream and I'd bring you cups of tea all day!

My heart goes out to you sweetie. If you need to chat, give us a pm.

Luce xxx

Awww Pinky that was a fantastic gesture, my bestes buddy offered to come stay but.... far to costly for him to fly across the world :) I settled for a phone call. I would have welcomed you completely with all the sweets. I escaped to the camp site and hid out in the protection of my loving parents arms :) It was nice. Each day is better. I reason with my self that I have one issue to get over, that is lost love, the lad he has far more ... his work, his investments and family... tooo much for him and I wish him well. Pity he chose to go it alone.

Thank you again for the great support :)

Luv ya Mel, even with that daft pink hat :D

ahahaha thanks you will be happy to know BB's mama has the daft pink hat for now but if I ever return, it's going to belong to some other FG member dang it.

Thanks Kram for the kind words, I am making progress, yes I see it as his loss as well more so than mine. Today is better than yesterday and tomorrow can only improve right :)

Again thank you.

Oh Jimbo, its tough being hurt, but somehow it is amazing comfort to know we are human and other humans hurt like us as well. And you survived and so shall I. I am in a far less hurtfilled situation than others and I felt silly admitting my hurt and tears but this thread has made me feel ok about my little hurt :(

Thank you for the comfort.

Minks. I could not bear to see you so unhappy. It was never a burden. I know you would do the same for me if the roles were reversed.:-4

Really sorry, minks - it's a form of bereavement, to have a relationship end, so go through it like that, and mourn. Disbelief - rage - finally (hopefully) resignation ; don't they say those are the stages of loss?

I also went through a "kick him in the nads and strip his hard drive" last time it happened to me, but it didn't particularly help. Well, ok, it helped for a few hours and then I realised I had a lot of stuff saved on his computer of my own and so I kind of regretted it

I DO think it helps to remember everything you didn't like about him and get thoroughly ANGRY!

Aww hi gang, I am doing better yet again today. Anger does help Lu2, but I think I am ok with resigning myself to knowing, I only have this single loss that disrupts my life, he has far more on his plate and well if it is his choice to call it quits, It's best to cut ties and run.

Today that feels alright :)
