I'm trying hard to "do as the Romans." Evil-Man was using your screen name. He seems to have enough powers to inhabit forum members. Be careful. :-6

I just read a thread about the proper direction for a roll of toilet paper. I've heard of the axiom of being non-controversial, but that's taking it to the extreme, IMO.

No subject is too serious to be discussed here Chippy. Debate regarding such things identifies the psychological makeup of the members and is therefore used to assess their suitability to be members of FG.;)

well Chipt, you posted in several threads recently, the "ask" threads, the question (to paraphrase) "why does stupid cowboy tricks self-identify with 'stupid'?". what was that designed to do? humiliate her? why not ask her directly? why ask other members? good will perhaps?

The threads were for questions. I posted questions. I was on topic. I got a few, select answers. I exercised my member rights to delete the posts. Spin away.

Uhh...."run off"? Every single person here who has not been banned has the complete and utter freedom to come and go as they please. Ruth made a CHOICE to leave. One that I'd wager doesn't last real long. Your bleeding heart is making the thread all sloppy, why don't you clean up after yourself?

For myself, Chip, I took a disliking to you because on the first day you blitzed four threads, all of which were rabidly right wing. Then, after posting extremely slanted propaganda, you came out with "I don't have any preference" or some such stuff.

Nothing to do with "turf wars", it was just your politics I didn't like. And I think I still wouldn't have had a problem with you if you had just come out and said, "I don't like Democrats." (Since it was incredibly obvious to me anyway.)

But I will say that you seem to have come around a bit.
