it's Santa in a red leather Dominatrix suit walking down the hall saying,

"Ruuuuudy"

and Rudolph is in a closet with a cell phone whispering,

"hello? A.S.P.C.A.?"

Since the Scrooges invaded the Merry Christmas thread, I've highjacking the Bah Humbug thread!

SCROOGE

Nephew!

(beat)

Keep Christmas in your own way, and let me

keep it in mine.

FRED

Keep it! But you don't keep it.

SCROOGE

Let me leave it alone, then. Much good may

it do you! Much good it has ever done you!

FRED

(casually)

There are many things from which I might

have derived good, by which I have not

profited, I dare say. Christmas among the

rest. But I am sure I have always thought

of Christmas time, when it has come round

as a good time: a kind, forgiving,

charitable, pleasant time: the only time

I know of, in the long calendar of the year,

when men and women seem by one consent to

open their shut-up hearts freely, and to

think of people below them as if they really

were fellow-passengers to the grave, and not

another race of creatures bound on other

journeys. And therefore, uncle, though it

has never put a scrap of gold or silver in

my pocket, I believe that it has done me

good, and will do me good; and I say, God

bless it!

..."and anyone who goes about with "merry christmas" on their lips should be boiled in their own pudding and a stake of holly through their heart" .....yeah! put those orphans in the work houses! put those old ladies in debtors prison! ...a poor excuse to pick a man's pocket every Dec. 25!! :yh_money

My family always got in fights that led to hard feelings or hurt feelings........I am not fond of Christmas. It was fun when T-Girl was little but after that...

Personally there is nothing I like more than raosting my nuts in front of a blazing log fire with carols playing in the background, obviously it's better done in the privacy of one's own home rather than the local pub

The greatest gift at Christmas is the TIME spent with family and friends....I have never beeen able to afford going over the top with present buying and I certainly wouldn't get into debt whatever the kids wanted. They were never disappointed and neither have the grandchildren been disappointed......5 now...I normally make up a 'goodie' bag which consists of lots of little gifts which used to be toys, games etc when they were small...it is harder for teenagers, but I have started to collect bits and bobs for the girls.....a not too expensive 'bling' watch each, makeup, vouchers for their mobile phones etc......anyone got any more idas ???

Well I think that you all should just have a big snowball fight, and whichever group wins gets to call the shots around the garden this christmas. I'll just act as the ref, to avoid any conflict!! :D
