Did you ever notice all the great ideas a politician comes up with when they are running for office, but apparently was not able to think of any of them during the years they have been in office? We hear great ideas on health care from both presidential candidates, why no legislation during the last four or five years or more?
We hear of ideas to “fix†social security, hey, why no legislation to advance these great ideas during the last session of Congress or the one before that?
It must be that running for a new office stimulates ones thinking (or could it just be that you now have that many more handlers and advisers to keep the publicity going)?
I know they are saving the really good idea for sometime that is more important…to them!
