40 litres.

A litre is 10x10x10cm. There's a thousand of them in a cubic metre.

My fridge is one twenty-fifth of a cubic metre.

It's one and a half-ish cubic feet.

My fridge sounds small but I can get several bottles of juice and cider and some cans of beer in it, and salady things and cheese and some bits of chicken.

It has space for a couple of trays of ice to go in my gin. I have one lime and one lemon in a part of the door that holds limes and lemons. I think it was for eggs really.

I refuse to go and look but I bet there's some taramasalata and some humous in there too.

You think I need a bigger one?

Why would I need a bigger one? Who am I trying to impress?

Except an unopened bottle of sort-of-curry-sauce, and five potatoes and two carrots and an onion and REALLY they'd just not like to be in a fridge at all, they're much happier in circulating air.

And a tin of three-bean something which I didn't buy and I'm not sure what to do with it.

There's a kilo of wholemeal spaghetti in a drawer next to a big pack of basmati rice and a half a garlic. Must get some more garlic.

And three unopened packs of ground coffee.

I haven't got any bread made but there's some flour, I might put some on overnight in the breadmaker. I'm no good at hand-kneading.

I had one that had the freezer on top and fridge on bottom for about 14 years...and it actually was still working when I replaced it with the one I have now...but it was a pain in the butt to store food in....love my current one....let me see if I can get visual aids...hmmm

the first one is similar to my first one, found in Photobucket....and the second one is actually my refrigerator....

I have two, and two kitchens too. Only cook in one, but use both 'fridges to keep food in.

How about .......................How big is your refridgerator ?

I have two large chest freezers and a 6 foot tall refrigerator/freezer.

How about everyone else?

With only two of us in the household, a side by side fridge is just fine. Love the filtered water and ice maker feature.

That's so not true! I'd taken a pic of my fridge, I remembered where it ought to be posted.

I online-ordered some food. I'm getting quite good at low-cost eating.
