You lucky person, being able to sit out in the garden when it's approaching winter down there. It's really supposed to be summer in the UK, and we haven't got too much sun, although today was not bad for me in the East Midlands of England.

Went to visit a little boy I had last year today he is 2 now and goes to visit his nan every second weekend so I get to see him once a month

First day of June here, Hope, and that, for us Aussies, is the first day of winter. We count from the first of the month not the 21st.

Tell me something please. When you call someone sis, it's a form of address not an indicator of actual sisterhood????? I have seen it used before in some parts of the US, but was never sure.

but in my case, i'm calling everybody Sis because thet adopted me not to long ago and i'm there new little sister!:wah:

I heard in another thread that Carol's been getting a hard time in the Garden. So sorry, Sweetie. It seems to happen a lot. I've just played the two awesome singing tracks you were kind enough to send me. I had no idea!!! You could have knocked me down. You did in fact blow me away!! WOW!!!!! Congratulations.

It's pelting rain here in Sydney, but I still managed to get quite a bit of my Sunday on Manly beach. You know, I had a week on the beaches of the Cote d'Azur in France. There's lots of good stuff there - restaurants in the private beaches, where some tanned Adonis will bring you a cocktail as you lie on one of their sundecks... draped in a towel with a crest on it... BUT when it comes to actual waves, sand... the BEACH - Australia wins by a country mile!!!

morning everyone,

just a quick pop in to say hello, got all my chores to do this morning and i've got work this afternoon cos im the only one who knows how to peel potatos here :-3:mad:

cloudy but quite humid here, might get thunder later so they say.

got a few probs with the computor that are of my own making i think but it could do with a visit to the doctor

my mouse isnt working properly now and i think i need to get the toast crumbs out of it too

but you know how it is............ dont want to give it up, even for a short while cos i dont want to miss anything :wah:

Before I go I have to say somefing.

I just pmd somebody......dont matter who.....but somebody I so admire in speaking their mind to people who at times seem to get a high out of upsetting threads with their so called debate on the subject.I know some here have been on the receiving end of this including myself and also some of us have tried to make our points .As most of you know many of us are on another site now ....and you know the best part???We can have debates and still all be friends....we can be ourselves with no worry about sarcy remarks other than ones said in good fun....we can put threads up and not be ignored.....ALL the mods are friendly towards you and not just the odd couple....and in general its one good atmosphere.....also to know that anybody going on there saying stuff like they do on here and upsetting folk would be thrown off is so nice to see.Everybody has freedom of speech and thats what these places are for but when NICE people start leaving or dont post as much or even get thrown off for sticking up for themseves or others ....well something is very wrong and its just a shame this cant be seen in certain quarters.
