Personal history or family history?
We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then, is not an act but a habit.

yes, i met a genealogist at a wedding, who traced my Mothers side back to the 1600's From France to Canada, I have a Finnish Genealogical (father) report that dates back to the 1600's, that mentions myself and my children. What is Americana is the fact my husbands family has roots with this country that go back, way back, their history here is interesting, as there are so few farms left in the country, where we live has been a farm since the 1700's. The towns historian came outin the late nineties and brought copies of inventories and estate records from the 1800's, detailed lists of everything in the house and the buildings, animals to glassware to butter.
