afternoon everyone,

some of you may have noticed my absence:-3 (:D )

some of you may not :-1

by the time i finished work last night and did a few bits and bobs, all i wanted to do was fall into bed........... which i did.........

this morning i was dragged into every shop in town , some of them twice :-5 by two grandaughters with money burning holes in their pockets :rolleyes:

i then went to work ...............

the dog has just had his little stubby legs walked off so he will give me a peaceful night............ and here i am

how long for i dont know cos i've got a job to keep my eyes open already !!

hi all ,carol tells me some of you may not be aware of the relatively new and unknown mobile network device(or as carol calls it "dingle dongle")its basicly a satelite internet receiver,its as big as a cigarette lighter,plugs into the usb port ,and it installs itself,it then picks up a signal from the spaceattelite much the same as our mobile phones!the cost is comparable to land based network,but its even better than wireless as it can work on beaches,in forests,anywhere that a signal can reach us!so far it is just a bit slower then normal broadband but watch this space i predict its the thing of the future,so far highley recomended!:)

Thanks for that Chris ! I'll make enquiries, but I bet I won't be able to afford it, cos I expect you'd have to buy the dingle dangle dongle if you wanted to pay-as-you-go.

:-3Think Chris has already said Gill that we got it free on a 2 year contract.You have to pay a monthly amount though and cant just pay whatever you feel like.Its worth every penny mate I tell ye........give it a couple of years its gonna be huge in this country and like people are turning to lap tops now here I reckon thats what will happen with this gadget seeing you are not tied to just useing it at home.

Hi MrsK1:) Meant to let you know that the problem my daughter was facing.....not enough evidence and they cut her days to 1 day a week so she shut up but is keeping her eyes open...they have now increased her work. Hubby went down for 5 days as she was very depressed....but she seems ok now:)
