Friendly reminder....watch your mailboxes real well right now. We have a slot in one of those "cluster" mailboxes off the highway. Someone jimmied the mail door in the back and swiped everyone's mail. The cops were just here taking a report. Apparently they're getting as many in the neighborhood as they can. I'm p.issed because I was waiting on packages but at least it wasn't our home. So watch your stuff.

I'm lucky someone is always home to take in the mail, that is sad to steal it-makes you worried about identity theft and everything nowdays.

How many would you have to hit to get something you can pawn off ?
20, 50, 200 ?
They probably end up with lots of fruitcake and Christmas cards before they get one with a 20 for someones grandson.
Better off just stealing a purse from a grocery cart.

That crime has picked up this time of year as well. Just be careful this holiday season when shopping or mailing stuff they will take it if they see it, and sometimes at gun point, as just happened to a friends son 2 days ago.

Sounds like someone knew those silver chains were coming! Maybe we should move this thread to the conspiracy theories forum!:wah:

That's sad Red, not nice at all. :sneaky: You thought they were your's, and it appears like someone else made them theirs! (As you say, "a pox on them!")

(AFTR breathing a sigh of relief)I just recieved my car title today in the mail. We do have a mail box along side the road.
I did hear of a postman in New York stealing Christmas cards from the mail in the hopes, I guess, of stealing the cash gift inside.
