PSA: Tested Your Smoke Alarms Lately?
I was just noticing ours isn't showing the "on" light and I'm going to check that out tomorrow. So if you have smoke alarms, please test them and make sure they're working. If you don't have any, heck, please buy some!!

Don't know about in the US but here if you know someone who is elderly you can contact the Fire Service and they should provide and fit smoke detectors free of charge.
Also if you have a gas boiler it is worth investing in a smoke detector that also detects carbon monoxide, an odourless gas which is a killer.
Thanks for reminding us Red:)
