I have had a quiet nose about, and it seems that someone using my 'puter has
been looking at things that are not appropriate for people of their tender age,
or that their account has been mis-used by someone . Probably the former. This
activity appears to be only of immediately recent vintage. For the interim, I have
locked out all accounts mine, but Is there a way of preventing access to the 'net
by user-id, or only allowing those in the "adsministratyors" (mish-tryped) group
access? Running W2KSP4/Exploder. Also, I ought to get some sort of "net nanny"
S/W - is any available free?

More than likely there are plenty of free net nannies out there. Try http://www.download.com or http://www.majorgeeks.com Could you make it so only you can log on to your computer?

Good suggestions above. I used to use Net Nanny. The software of choice that I use in my home is McAfee's Privacy Service. It's awesome - I can't break it - and it protects my children from the nasties on the 'net. It's a paid for program - but check it out.
