Any thoughts of who might be our modern day Socrates, Aristotle, Hippocrates, etc? People who seem so far out there, yet may be considered intelligent and admired 500 years from now?

I'm not sure what qualifies as "modern". I would have to put forward

Hermann Hesse.

Krishnamurti.

Louise L Hay.

Neil Gaiman.

Ken Wilber, although he goes over my head fairly quickly, is considered one of the foremost modern day thinkers.
