Butterfly Kisses. I HATE THIS SONG. I know many people think it's beautiful and touching and it makes them sob. I don't care. The guy can't sing. He sounds like he's shuddering into the microphone. It's sappy. It's horrible. I have to hear it at EVERY WEDDING I GO TO since all my friends and I grew up in the 90s. Why doesn't someone pick a creative father-daughter song, huh? What about Led Zepplin's Ocean? That's a damn good song. What about "The Way You Look Tonight"? What about ANYTHING OTHER THAN BUTTERFLY FREAKING KISSES?

Any hyper-patriotic pop country song. You can be patriotic without being sappy. I honestly think most of these songs give Americanism a bad name. I think the only one I can stand is "God Bless the USA." It's cheesey, but it's the first. It's heartfelt. It's not a bandwagon song.

I Think I Love You by the Carpenters. The spooky music in the background...the failure to rhyme...the background vocals that make you want to grind your teeth, the huge windup to the word "I" in the phrase "I think I love you..." It's an all around horrible song.

McArthur Park. Any version. "I don't think that I can take it, cause it took so long to bake it, and I'll never have that recipe agaiiinnnn...ohhhh noooooo!" What.the.bloody.hell. This song is a prime example of why you should not smoke crack.

Oh jeez, you hit on some humdingers! Just reading the names of those makes me wanta burn all the music for them...just give me Patsy Cline any day, Mr. Wolverine...Some of this **** isn't fit for human ears or eyes!

I've never heard of them Jives, but i 'googled' them and the first set of lyrics I came across were shocking to say the least. Is this short for Insane Clown Posse, or a totally different band altogether ?

Bez...you should check out this thread. It's one of the longest and most heated on the boards. Basically, it's me and the good members here vs. the evil, death-oriented, hate-worshippers. Great reading from beginning to end.
