actually, i came here as a new person and asked for the crimes forum. then the Amber alert forum. i fell in love with criminology at the age of 19. and have pursued it ever since. did a dissertation on ted bundy and forensic odontics. ran a trial court law library and wrote legal briefs. investigated for a DA office in Mass. and started a program of guiding frightened battered women through the court system. it's been my whole life, aside from family of course. something tends to grab our attention at an early age. the first case that GOT me was that of Lizzie Borden, i was in Fall River Mass. where the crime took place and investigated it thoroughly, even went to the nursing home to interview the old folks who remembered Lizzie. thus i was on the road to HELL! LOL

i KNOW you didn't mean that about 'too honest to be a street cop' the way it sounded! LOL ...sounds like probation and parole might be right, or have you considered children and families investigator? they REALLY need good people!

I mainly read the jokes and general chit chat. I would also like to get the sound fixed on the computer; but, the wife thinks I already spend to much time online.

Often I'll go see what other people are reading and read threads that way. That is how I end up bumping up older threads sometime.

I only came online to see what stocks did today and look at me reading this thread:)

I have never heard of forensic files? When is this on and what channel? I also love CSI (though the New York one hasn't gripped me yet). And I must say Grissom kinda grows on me everytime...... :-4

Forensic files comes on about 8 or 9 on discovery or one of the uktv history channels! We have telewest cable. Thats one of our favorite shows. Forensic detectives usually on at 11.
