God does work.....THIS IS WEIRD!

I have been really sad since getting the news yesterday morning that I definetly wont get pregnant on my own (well with my husband, you know what I mean) and have to start IUI then possibly IVF in June. So I'm feeling, sad and depressed and I come into work this morning and check my email. I always get a "daily devotional" from a website. HERE IS WHAT THE MESSAGE WAS:

When nothing seems to be going right in your life, don't

despair, pray and ask for God's help, and then; WAIT FOR

THE LORD; BE STRONG AND TAKE HEART AND WAIT FOR

THE LORD. ( PSALM 27:14 ) For; THOSE WHO HOPE IN THE

LORD WILL RENEW THEIR STRENGTH. THEY WILL SOAR

ON WINGS LIKE EAGLES; THEY WILL RUN AND NOT GROW

WEARY, THEY WILL WALK AND NOT BE FAINT.

( ISAIAH 40:31 )

After all; THE LORD IS GOOD TO THOSE WHOSE HOPE

IS IN HIM, TO THE ONE WHO SEEKS HIM. ( LAMENTATIONS

3:25 ) For God has said; "THEN YOU WILL KNOW THAT I AM

THE LORD; THOSE WHO HOPE IN ME WILL NOT BE

DISAPPOINTED." ( ISAIAH 49:23 )

Therefore don't let disappointments cause you to give up,

instead always; HOLD UNANSWERINGLY TO THE HOPE

WE PROFESS, FOR HE WHO PROMISED IS FAITHFUL.

Faithful Indeed! ( HEBREWS 10:23)

I'm so sorry about your news DG, no wonder you feel sad,

it's nice that you have faith and the words give you hope.

Faith is what gets you throgh all those tough times. I really feel sad for kids who tell me that don't believe in God. I knwo that it'll be a lot harder for them to cope with life.

DG, I believe that there is a purpose for everything that happens to us. When it's time for you to become a mother, you will. It may not happen by conventional methods, but it WILL happen. Don't lose your faith, as I'm sure you won't. Look at my friend, Tigersmeow who finally got pregnant after 11 YEARS of trying. Never give up, don't despair, and it will happen for you.

DG, my sister's marriage began with two stillbirths. The first was a bitter disappointment, the second absolutely devastating!

After some medical intervention she eventually gave birth to seven wonderful children, all of whom are now grown and either raising families of their own or, we assume, will do so soon.

Everything that happens in life is not easily explainable, but in the end, the Lord has everything under control and will never let you down. It's just not part of His nature!

That is very calming and spiritually invigorating. Be at peace with this. Life is full of surprises.
