hi everyone....now that i have all this RAW POWER as a moderator, i am declaring WAR on spammers. i will do my best to get rid of it quickly, but do understand i am not at my computer every hour of the day and night. if i see spammers i will treat you to the sight of me kicking their butts, cuffing them up, and throwing them into the back of the cruiser, and none too gently. back later!
Spam, is that some-one who comes to the FG with (2) different names? Is it selling something here? I am not clear exactly what SPAM is? So i could register here again and be some-one else? Thanks.
If thats the case Spam is identified right away if its about selling something. Yes it does happen more than once here, and i cannot believe any one would try that, but they do? :-5
For me, SPAM is really inappropriate commercial posts in the wrong area. We have a For Sale area now. I don't have a problem with that kind of stuff there. But "penis enlargement", "make a billion dollars in two hours", "free ipods", etc. being listed without care in the wrong forum areas are definitely spam.
The funny thing is, these people are just not smart enough to post appropriately and in the right spot!
I have a "secret" little script that I may implement here on FG. If you notice, all of the spammers have a userid or affiliate code attached to all of their links. My script would change their affiliate id so even by chance, if someone clicked on it, they would not get credit for it. Devious or ingenious?
