Go Metric Ireland
Having never been to Ireland I just assumed they wee already on the metric system. New Zealand switched to metric back in the 60's some time and went from Pounds Sterling etc. to the Dollar. I still forget sometimes when I am driving, that 100 k is only 60mph.

Makes more sense, we kept the miles so now I buy petrol by the litre and work out miles per gallon.
