Re: Surprising Strictly
After checking with his doctor he really didn't have a choice.
On the other hand he was definitely dancing. In an earlier life he'd have made a good gigolo.

He was the sort of person you look at and think nope, he's going to be useless at this! Then he actually danced, brilliant.

This pair are just stunning, don't think I've ever known such good dancers across the board on Strictly before.

What I remember from living a mile south of the Arsenal ground is that people used to go round shouting "There's only one Tony Adams" whenever his team played a home fixture. He scored a couple of goals a year.Betty Boop wrote: ↑Sun Oct 16, 2022 10:07 am I had to look this guy up, thought he must be in his 70's he's so cardboard! Shocked to know he's 56

Being a person with at least three left feet, I am amazed at the abilities of many of these folks.

Nigel has left the show with an injury! Gutted.
Broken rib it seems.
Just four couples left.

Re: Surprising Strictly
This type of dances never stop to impress me, once in a while I'd watch 1 or 2 and I'd be flabbergasted and then be sad that it isn't appreciated enough sometimes..
Re: Surprising Strictly
For non-dancers, many of whom are relatively unfit, I find it amazing how quickly some of them reach a high standard in their dancing.
