Black-and-white in terms of clothing is consistently an aspect of right-wing authoritarian settings. No liberal humanitarian would adopt that visual vocabulary.
Purity and clarity, psychological impact, propaganda and messaging where the regime exerts tight control over media and communication and the simplified imagery reduces the risk of subversive elements being hidden in more complex, colourful designs.
Examples definitely include the entire Nazi regime, Mussolini's fascismo, Franco's falange and as many contemporary neo-fascist and far-right movements as you could shake a stick at.

I think that you should wear what you like. As long as it's not dirty or torn.
Also, I think leather accessories look great in an office setting. Something like this briefcase. In my opinion, it gives a professional aura to the worker.

It's in a floatable, sealed lake holder. Cool, huh? And it streams to my powerful lakeshore speaker. The bag attached to the tube has snacks, suntan lotion, and beer...

Nope. Nothing but lots of Rainbow Trout that nibble on your shoestrings. New Mexico has a surprising amount of wildlife, especially here near on the NorthWest Plateau (5,500 ft. = 1677 m.) so close to the San Juan Mountains and the Weminuche Wilderness, but most of it is not dangerous. Even the bears and mountain lion rarely attack. Diamondback rattlesnakes are around, but the only domestic problem is Black Widow spiders. They won't kill a human, but they will make you damned sick.If that lake has a secluded population of alligator gar you need a harpoon as well.
The real pest, though, are skunks. They can ruin a week pretty quickly just by spraying once on Monday. I spent the summer skunk proofing all 65 m. of fence line around my yard with chicken wire and river rocks. (The river rocks, about soccer ball sized, are round and fall into the hole if the skunk tries to dig under. They can't climb at all, but they are great tunnelers.
