Can any body recommend a pair of really small quality speakers Someone has all ready recommended Bose acoustimas speakers but Ive read mixed reviews.

Many thanks

I, for one, enjoy the Acoustimass 6 speakers. The sound is great and the speakers are unobtrusive. Check out Bose's info on the Acoustimass 6 here.

Hmmm....thinking about this. My answer: Time to remodel! Never sacrifice speaker space. :D

Have you considered hanging them from the ceiling ?

I personally couldnt or wouldnt put holes in my speaker boxes but its an option & the heighth would allow you not only more room but a different sound, probably a little cleaner and the furniture is less apt to muffle or deaden some of the frequencies.

The Q1 is width 22cm, height 34.5cm, depth 30cm. You are really not going to get anything much smaller that sounds clean. If you'd asked what to put into a small room I'd probably have picked Mission PRO Nearfield monitor speakers at 36.5 by 20 by 26, which isn't far different. Corner Wall-mount what you have, with the right gap at the back, and they'll be out of the way and placed where the designer wanted them to go - near to the wall.

Hi

I'm starting to sound like a B&W Speakers salesman, but I'm not...honest.

B&W have just launched Mini Theatre which has been acclaimed in several HI FI mags. It looks really smart, White Silver or Black ....if your cottage is really traditional inside this may be a bit too modern though. M-1s are multi-purpose ...fronts/centers....you can get different subs if you want surround sound. The website is pretty comprehensive......www.bwspeakers.com

Enjoy :-6 Bez

Just had another thought...you can get quite a selection of In-wall or ceiling speakers although it would mean making holes ......quite large ones....maybe no good if your cottage is listed and has thick walls !

If this catches the OP's eye I'm interested to know the outcome.
