My interests are: Animals, nature and enjoying life to it's fullest.

The reason for living life to it's fullest is these reasons: type1 diabetic and recent heart patient. Now going thru EECP therapy for 35 days, on day 20 today..yeehaaaaa!!! over half way thru...lol:D . If not sure what this is you may go here to read www.naturalbypass.com. Welcome Tinkerbellz, I am in MO...am 36 have 3 kids, ages 3, 5 and 9..My 3 yr old girl is type 1 diabetic! She was dx at 10 months of age. I love animals/nature and people! Welcome to the garden!!

:-1 So sorry to hear your child has diabetes. But words of encouragement...I've had diabetes since I was 7 and am 45 now, so you can survive a long time with proper management and check those sugars often! We that have it since childhood really know no difference in the world because we have to live a certain way everyday. I'm just now having problems from having it for so long, and it's my heart, sad to say. But, I have God as my co-pilot:-4 . Thanks for the welcome and Howdy!!!!

Lots of hearts here! Some broken, some damaged, mostly good. You'll fit in just fine.

Really great to see another person here with experience of type 1....not much discussion on it here. Although I have talked about it, i just don't think anyone here has it. I am sad to hear of your health complications. It breaks my heart to think my little girl must endure this burden. We check her 6-8 times a day and shots with every meal. My heart aches. She is only 3. I am glad you are here--hope you stay...we could offer each other such good support!

Yup, guess you could say I've had my share, but life is still good for me. Have a good loving family and looks like good friends to share with here.
