Introducing----me

Hi! I'm 56 (for a few more days, anyway), live in Northeast Ohio, have 3 grown children (1 married), and 1 beautiful grandson. I'm fairly new to computers and forums, and don't know how to do a lot of things with them (my kids dragged me, kicking and screaming, into the electronic era). I work in the healthcare field, and enjoy a variety of things.

I am currently 'single' (going through the divorce process). I enjoy meeting and talking with other people, and this site looked friendly.

Glad to have you at FG Grizabela. It is a very friendly place, with a fair few experienced divorced people around so if you don't feel so good at times let us know and we can encourage you along. I'm happily divorced myself, with 3 teenagers. :-6

HI! I'm sorta kinda new too. This is a really nice group and pretty much everyone gets along well with each other...very respectful most of the time!

Hey, by the way, I can't figure out how to start a thread. Can someone clue me in? I've checked the FAQ section.

Hey Griz, welcome to FG. You'll love it here!!

Kathy, when I want to post a new thread, I go to the home page, find the folder I want to add a thread to, on the left side of the page (General ChitChat, The kitchen, whichever one is appropriate) click on it, and it takes me to all the threads in that folder. At the top is a blue button "Post new" or "new thread" something like that. Click on it, you'll get a blank screen just like the ones to reply in. Type away, hit submit new thread! Good luck!

Thank you all so much for your welcome, and for making me feel at home.

In answer to one of the posts, I like music, almost all music, but prefer country and 60's-70's rock, love to dance, am a voracious reader, dabble in painting, and like (most) people.

Thanks to a couple of you for the encouraging words about divorce. Since I was totally blindsided by this, I am still sort of reeling.

I'm going to enjoy getting to know all of you.
