Boris Johnson lined up for safe seat in 2015 to fight Cameron for the top job | Mail Online

Most people would vote for him just for comedy factor.

I don't follow politics but even I've heard of him. He's got name recognition going for him.

He's the Mayor of London and completely bonkers.

The country has been chuckling Into their tea cups for a couple of years that he may contest Cameron for leadership and end up as Prime Minister..

He Is an absolute buffoon on one hand but on the other, extremely honest.

He has this Inimitable way of putting his foot In It.... very recently he was In hot water for telling Ken Livingstone on live radio ' You're a f****** liar and repeating It 4 times.

This Is likely to be Britain's next Prime Minister.... :yh_rotfl

He's definitely got the buffoon about him but he's done a good job as Mayor of London and isn't above challenging his own party when he thinks they're wrong.

He's as honest as we are going to get from a politician and very popular. Gave Ken the bum's rush and the Olympics has been such a success, it might be the wave that takes him forward.

Did you watch the link I posted In room 101 where he's talking about cycling through London and people shout 'Tory Tosser' at him ?.... That's priceless.

In fact a true story.... His Father was cycling through London one morning and someone shouted 'Tosser' at him and he shouted back ' I think you're mistaking me for my son'.

For a Tory, I agree... he's as honest as we are ever going to get and I'd actually love to see him In No 10.... what a breath of fresh air he'd be?

So much for the notion that an MP represents his constituency and the local party chooses who their candidate should be, preferably someone that knows the constituency. It highlights the contempt MP's feel towards the election process when they think they can just appoint someone to take a seat.

Interesting character. Highly educated. Intelligent, but sometimes really quite stupid...

If he does get to be PM I can't wait to see what Frankie Boyle is like as Mayor of London.
