Ultra cool. Cinematic Orchestra with the fabulous voice of Fontella bass. '60s and '70s jazz, orchestral soundtracks, rhythm loops, and live instrumentation into genre-defying compositions ...is how AllMusic describe this outfit As for Fontella Bass, it's a travesty that her gloriously velvety voice has been ignored for years

Yep :) srsly beowulf, I haven't hear of them before.

Some of them are ok you know, (I guess you know that lol) I could listen to them now and again.

The heavier stuff well, I'm not sure I could get into that scene. ;)

Anyone who likes metalmania will love this. :sneaky:

Since Halloween is fast approaching, how about some music to mark Samhain, or Samhuinn in Scotch Gaelic: All Soul's Night by Loreeena McKennitt. This is from her relatively recent live album "Nights from the Alhambra" 2006.

Right now I am listening to the EARTH SONG by Michael Jackson. My son just turned on the radio. This song passes a strong message to the entire world and I am thinking about that message at the moment. The way he sings it is so emotion but with so much power.

Well it got a nice video as well. I just see the pictures while I hear them via the radio. It is simply so nice and Michael Jackson’s voice is amazing! We all miss him a lot!

"Destiny Rules" - Fleetwood Mac from the "Say You Will" CD. Man, that CD was soooo GOOD! it's at least as good as "Tusk" if not up there with "Rumours." If you've never heard this CD Check it OUT!

Just reminded myself what a good album Paul McCartney's first solo album, Ram was.

Best thing he ever did after the Beatles, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm listening to all of Sia's older stuff since falling in love with her on Titanium and Wild Ones.

Looked into why she's not in the Flo Rida video and now I like her even more.

This song is so fun to dance to. Flo Rida makes me smile.

The brand new Jeff Lynne (Mr. Blue sky himself, leader of E.L.O.) album. He is covering a bunch of torch songs from his childhood. But unlike 'I'm just doing it for the money" Rod Stewart, these are really heartfelt. Not only that, they have been beautifully arranged by a master and are as clear as a bell.
