For Cher!
Thanks, everyone! Everything is fine!
I had told CSquared that I had to have dental surgery today -- I'm having (another!) implant put into my gums. I will have some numbness and throbbing off and on for 48 hours.
I feel fine now! Just popped a painkiller as the novocaine is wearing off.
Thanks for thinking of me, my dear friends :-6

Oh!! I do feel for you!! I have a dentist phobia, believe me, it's the one thing that turns me to jelly.... I hope it gets better quickly!!:-4
I get numbness and throbbing on and off as well..... and sometimes my teeth and gums hurt as well, but I take painkillers for that.:sneaky:

I have been called "The Love Child" of FG because of all the crushes I develop in the Garden (BTW, it was my good friend Minxsie that came up with that one -- and I absolutely LOVE IT!)
Uncle Kram and The Wopster -- is it any wonder why my crushes on the two of you remain strong? :-4
You are both wonderful :-6

Hugs to you and hope you feel better soon!
That novocaine sounds good! I have an ear infection which has gone from bad to worse!
I went to the doctors on Wednesday and saw a locum who refused to give me antibiotics, and instead gave me eardrops. I couldn't sleep all of Tuesday night because of the pain, I couldn't even lay down on Wednesday night because it felt like maniacs were poking red hot carving knives in my ear! I went back to the doc's on Thursday ready to kill! and insisted on seeing another doc! FINALLY got some antibiotics and have been taking them every 2 hours because the pain has been SO unbearable!
The doc said to take 2 painkillers every 4 hours, which is impossible when the pain is so torturous! I've been taking 3 painkillers every 2 hours and clockwatching until I could take more and just crying with the unbearable pain between times! If the stupid locum had given the antibiotics a day earlier I wouldn't have had to put up with such Godawful pain! :-5
Finally tonight its starting to ease at last! If you split my head in two, the entire right side was agony - now it's totally numb yet achy too, but not as bad, thank God! And the painkillers are now 3-4 hourly which is better as taking so many was making me feel really sick. Now all I need is to get my hearing back in my right ear as its totally deaf for now. Did you say something?
I hope you feel better too Cher sweetheart! :-4
I've never heard of an implant before. How does that work? Is it attached to the teeth on either side? Do you have to be more careful with that tooth?
I'm sorry if I'm not making a lot of sense - I'm too doped up with painkillers.
Take care. M xx

As I wind my day down I think of BR and her invasive surgery, I think of Chonsi with all of the perrils that life has given you, and Cher, who IS our resident angel, amd all the rest of you that have quiet ailments or emotional pains. This is the place to "dump", There is always an ear to listen or shoulder to cry on.
