So, I'm watching a documentary on the making of the series on A&E right now. Did anyone else know that the chick who played Shirley on "Laverne and Shirley" (WTF was her name??) auditioned for the role of Princess Leia?? They had a clip of all the readings, and wow...was she awful. Good for a laugh, though.
