I was listening to "CoasttoCoast" on my way to work this am. The host, George Noorey, was talking to a guest about time travel. Don't know the guest's name.

George asked the guest if he thought that we would be able to 'time travel in the near future.' The guest stated that surely we could..... All we'd have to do is build a spaceship that could travel the speed of light, and that certainly is possible. But, travelling back in space would be a problem:lips:

:wah::wah::wah:....Oh, I do love this guest's optomism:p

Yes, just trying to move a mobile home and it slipped a few inches from it's mounting. It made me jump, that's all. Thank goodness.

Just have a bite to eat, get yourself a nice cup of tea or coffee, put the TV on, put your feet up and chill out. Either that or go and have a good soak in the bath ! :-6:D ;)

OMG...I just got an email from Netflix and will be receiving "The Lovely Bones" tomorrow. I read this book long ago and thought it was a great book to make kids realize how careful they must be when meeting strangers or dealing with trust and safety issues.

Two nights ago I was nipping tiles to fit an area and stacking them to place last night. Put them on last night and there is one tiny exposed (over-nipped)area. Reached into the bucket I had scrapped the chips into to find something to fill the gap and danged if I didn't pull out and match up exactly the piece that fit on that tile.:yh_pray

had to be 300 nipped tile chips in my little bucket and my first pick was the guy.

You Americans just can't speak the language properly, can yall?!!!! :yh_rotfl

Movie ???? trailer???... like ya pull behind a car here, or, in America, live in.

Shorts, I understand, are what one of your blokes wears under his daks, unless he's originally a Scotsman when he doesn't wear daks either.

Here, shorts are what a girl, wears, fetchingly, to the beach over her cossie.

An Aussie bloke probably wears budgie smugglers.

GOFRIT, Floppy.

My sister would appreciate this post. She and her partner are renovating their house at the moment, and as well as hauling gyprock, she's making mosaic panels for wall decorations and outdoor paving. They are fantastic.

Ahem! Wot's (please notice that word) a 'cossie'? is it anything like a Nessie? which reminds me, I had a little statue (4 parts) of Nessie which I bought at Loch Ness. It was hurled off a shelf in my 'Fish Grotto' bathroom, mixed in with various broken glass, (in the earthquake) and now I can find only one of his humps. :( Woe is me.

Blame Chonsi! She's the one with the dissecting lab. Bits of Nessie probably got mixed up with the eyeballs of newt, tongue of scorpion, kinda thang, or worse, with the pizza.

I ordered this on PPV and watched it at 3 a.m and just finished watching it again. I had read the book several years ago and will have to borrow it back from my daughter to see how close the movie is to it.

It's gripping, very tense and at the same time very beautiful. The visual effects are stunning! Very creative. Saoirse Ronan, as Susie, is wonderful. Stanley Tucci is loathsome, as his part demands that he be. Excellent movie about a grim and sorrowful subject.
