Want something fun to do with the grandkids when they come over? Got stuck babysitting the twins? Hey, the nieces and nephews are here for the holidays and you need to keep them busy? Too snowy for your children to go outside?
Well here's a fun, easy holiday activity for everyone!
Exploring Geometry - Nets for geometric solids
Just print out one of these geometric nets (yes, it's a math lesson that teaches abstract ability, polygons, and polyhedrons, but they'll never know it!) Color it, fold it and glue it. Then put a paperclip through it and hang it on the tree!
Cool huh?:D

I highly recommend the "Rhombicuboctahedron" which looks a lot like a Christmas ornament.
(BTW - this is a lesson plan teachers run when they want a "quiet Friday" and need to decorate the tree in their room!:D)
