I'm just joking hun, I have a female guppy that is pregnant, so put her in a separate container in the tank, so when she has babies, the mother won't eat them, they will fall down into another compartment.......but read last night only to keep her their for 48 hours as she needs to hide and be on her own..........so then had to put her back into her little one tonight.

just impatient.......I need to see my new babies.......and if she is in the big tank..they will all be eaten.:(

My turtle keeps laying eggs and I have to take them out as soon as I see them or she will eat them and that really messes up the water....and I throw them away, I don't want to be raising baby turtles cuz the two I have are already outgrowing their tank.

Where did your daughter get a job? Look to your mechanic for a used car. that's where we got Laura's car.

She got a job at a nursing home. Our mechanic had to close his business cuz he hurt his back really bad and he had his own one man shop. I used to be a mechanic years ago, so I know what to look for in cars which is pretty cool. :)

The Focus is supposed to be a really good car, economically wise also. I see them everywhere. Laura has an old lady white Ford Escort...that's what we call it. She hates it.:wah:

It was good to get the pneumonia shot, I've had it twice before and now they are recommending anyone that has had it and has asthma should get one. I'm really hoping this nerve root block thing will help at least a little. I did get that med called Chantix to help me quit smoking, which I am starting to want to do cuz my smokers cough is getting worse all the time. I also know I feel better when I can breathe better. This med helps with the wanting to eat all the time when you quit too, so I'm gonna do my best. Doesn't matter if hubby keeps smoking or not, I need to do this for myself and my own health.

I'm hoping it works out as planned, but we're definitely getting it for her. Today her ride to school called and her car had broken down on the way to get Jess, so I had to get up and take her again. If she has her own car then she can just drive herself to school...then this momma can get some decent sleep. :)

We've already got the wheels in motion. After my doc appt I'm gonna swing by there and pick up the car, hide it in our garage for when she gets home. pretend we're not home so she has to go in thru the garage. After that we'll go sign all the paperwork. I think it's gonna be pretty cool, and we wanted something that will last her the rest of high school and thru college and we believe this car will. I'm so excited just thinking about it!!! :-4:-6:)

It's an '05 bright blue Ford Focus ZX4 with only 40,000 miles on it. Me and hubby test drove it last night and it is a very solid little car and runs awesome. We're buying the car for her and she's gonna hafta pay for her own insurance and gas.

Good luck getting the money:wah:. Laura buys her own gas but we foot the bill for insurance. Her job hours just got cut and she's going to college full time and is paying for her house at the beach, etc.

We've already taken care of the money thing. She is still in high school and works so she will be responsible for the insurance and gas. The rest of her check, well most of it, will be set aside for college.

Gawd, I hope she's making more that the minimum of $7.00/hour... Laura is going to the local community college which was far cheaper than a university. For Easter I will probs get her gas cards which really helps. She's got the Escort and it is a fast little car and gets her from a to b. Needs inspection soon and should pass. :lips: I looked under her seats this morning, gross!

Yeah, she makes enough to cover the insurance and gas and then have some to put away. Jessi will be doing the community college too unless she gets some scholarship(s).

Laura got a scholarship but got turned down on all the loans, etc. The community college is a great place to start out and she can transfer to a state school later after two years or so. My daughter is currently taking accounting courses...they are really boring but she's a go getter and is bringing home great grades. Plus, Laura didn't even know what she wanted to go to Uni for so it made sense to put money into the community college and have her grow up a bit more and figure it out. Right now she's talking about becoming a orthodontist assistant:lips:

good for her, paying her own insurance, our son did that also, it gives them initiative and responsibility.

Ford Focus is indeed a good vehicle.

plus, we didn't want him on our own insurance, in case of tickets/accidents.;)

Your lucky on that Odie. Laura has gotten quite a few tix but they came in my name cuz I own the car:-5. She's been very good lately. She should be getting her Honda soon as she is almost done paying off those massive tix.
