going to be a wild night here--katrina has already killed two people.

The eye of Hurricane Katrina made landfall today near the Miami-Dade-Broward county line, southern Florida, National Hurricane Center director Max Mayfield said. One person was killed by a falling tree as he sat in a parked car in Fort Lauderdale, The Associated Press reported. Wind gusts of 92 mph were recorded but the storm is also slow moving, with forecasters predicting up to 15 inches of rain for some areas.

I rented Sin City last night; actually got to about the halfway point before turning it off. It was haggis! But I do recommend you watch at least part of it. It's easy to imagine the Mickey Roark character as what Far would have been if it hadn't been for good raising (and Mrs. Far)
