Where in the world am I? What time is it? I wonder if my friends are asleep or awake?

Interested in world times?

I've created a new page that will help you answer these critical social questions! :p

Yes, that's really fun. It changes every minute. And it highlights where you are.

What do the times on the right signify? (I know I'm really going to regret pressing the submit reply button because as soon as I do I shall probably realise what it means but here goes...)

It's based off of your time settings in your profile. I've changed my profile settings to reflect different time zones and my times are spot on. (U.S.)

It's in beta - still have to account for DST for the zones outside of the U.S.

Can you explain to me why some of the time zones past Tehran are half hour changes instead of hour changes? I was not aware of this existence in time zones... Help! My brains are frying... please assist.

It's still yesterday in some places. That seems strange!

Conversation with spirit Mother (not quite verbatim)

Me: What time is it?

S Mother: There is no time

Me: So it is always "now"

S Mother What about the rest?

Little wonder that I'm so confused and getting more so

I downloaded in 2000 a neat litttle program that I saw in PC Magazine called "Clock Rack" that is similar. It's a colorful digital clock that shows me the time in eight world locations.

That's brilliant. I posted something on a Buddhist forum that I belong to so that when they wanted to get in the chat room, they had a rough idea what the time was round the world. It was just a spreadsheet....yours is 'realtime' much better.
