Been using these little critters for over five years and nothing has happened...except the site itself goes down from too many visitors on occasion... or repairs/adding new icons.

Got family in Calgary and Edmonton and Strathmore..... my ancestors used to ranch between Alberta and Montana and Idaho before there was a 49th parallel..... the old homestead is still standing somewhere up there and a nice "earthy/environmentalist" family are living there.... they put in plumbing (good idea).... and finally electricity a few years ago.....

You wouldn't like California today..... the heavens have opened and there is ugly weather all around.... mudslides, flooding, and wind wind wind.... but that's not bad considering most of the weather is comfy.

I like Calgary tho....used to go to the Stampede of course and then journeyed out there to see a few football games too... Vancouver has some snow today according to my family members who are grumbling about it and laughing at all the cars getting stuck on the hills.... evil folk they are!

Now the "boss" will probably delete the thread because we aren't being "bad"...haha

wel hot dam you know the area round these parts fairly well then. That is awesome. Yes I heard Van had snow. I have family on the Island but visit Van at least once a year for fun.

Yes we get word up hear of the lousy weather Cali is having. Pity really. I have done a ton of travel through your fair state, san fran, san Diego are 2 of my faves. Anaheim (of course) Ramona, Mill Valley, San Rafael, Carmel, Palm Desert and area I love that state. Wish I could get back again soon.

There are so many places .... California is pretty big and has a diverse set of weather regions .... I like San Luis Obispo because it is small and locked into an earlier time....I

call it the Happy Days era. My favorite (and there are many) is Big Sur..... I love it up

there because I miss all the forests and large green growth.

Vancouver is huge now, but I still enjoy it because it is home. Bye now...we are being too nice and will get booted off very soon! hehehe
