What Are You Serving on Thanksgiving?

Give me some ideas please about finger foods and in general what you are serving with the bird.:)

Syrup works well. Also, as a kid, I used to love Fussell's condensed skimmed milk. I guess you don't get it there though. Both those stick nicely to your fingers so you can lick them off. Or, if you don't care about protocol, you can stick your fingers right into your mouth.:-6

You can stick your fingers in the Fussells then into a bowl of sugar for some real texture contrast too.:-6

Horlicks:D I love using my finger as a lollypop and dabbing it in and out of the horlicks jar. Peanut butter is good too, crunchy or smooth, both lick right off...

Cake mix, especially chocolate brownie mix, finger lickin gooood:D

Pumpkin pie, apple pie, fresh rolls, candied yams, salad, some type of veggie, stuffing. Snackies before-cheese selection with crackers, nachos, and chocolate covered cherries-for me! :)

We are finally going to see family out of state this year, but our usual menu follows:

Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

Sweet Potato Souffle

Turkey

Stuffing/Dressing

Cranberry Sauce

Fresh Rolls

Pecan Pie and Pumpkin Pie

ETA: I forgot the green beans! How could I forget the green beans!!!!

Cristmas day in the Oscar house is a full roast turkey dinner.

Turkey liver rolled in bacon.

Parsnips roasted in honey.

Home-made sausage and sage stuffing

Yorkshire puddings

Chipolata's

Brussel sprouts

Roast potatoe's

etc etc

Usually preceded by Deep fried Brie in breadcrumbs

Followed by Christmas pudding with brandy butter.

Boxing Day is cold turkey

Cold ham

Cold beef or pork

Pickles and dips

creamy mashed potatoe

bubble and squeak

All added by home made christmas cake

mince pie's

sausage rolls

Mulled wine

And anything else i fancy

Can't wait :-6:-6:-6

Carrot sticks and celery sticks were what my mom used to serve as appetizers with a turkey dinner. :)

I was thinking about DRUNKEN DUCK. I have never tried with duck before. The chicken sure is good;)

usually:

turkey

mashed potatoes

gravy

stuffing

a side veggie or two....

cranberry sauce

pumpkin or pecan pie
