Ah, not chips. Home fries are difference, more like partially boiled potatoes, cut in chuncks then sauted in butter with a few onions and occasionally a little chopped green pepper, ummmmmmm good.

I had a bowl of cereal with some non-fat milk :)

I usually eat a toast with some 1/3 less fat Philly strawberry flavored cream cheese.

Did you know they're made from the same fresh milk and cream as the regular cream cheese? Makes me feel less guilty! :lips:

Try this quick healthy recipe for a breakfast starter.

1/4 cup Imperial Margarine 50 mL

2 tbsp honey 30 mL

2 cups rolled oats (not instant or quick) 500 mL

1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds 50 mL

1/4 cup hulled pumpkin seeds (pepitas) 50 mL

1/4 cup blanched, sliced almonds 50 mL

1/4 cup sweetened, shredded coconut 50 mL

1/4 tsp cinnamon 1 mL

pinch salt pinch

Heat a large skillet over medium-low. Melt the margarine and honey in the pan, then add the oats, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, almonds, coconut, cinnamon and salt, stirring and toasting for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve over fresh fruit, with yogurt or as a snack on its own.
