Post by Kathy Ellen »

Has anyone subscribed to this magazine...I love it.

I'm having a dinner in about 2 weeks for my Italian friends and will post a menu when I've completed it for anyone interested....Sorry Cher honey:-4 I'm stealing your stuff:-6

I've just made a delciious coffee for dessert....

"Caffee Alla Valdostana"

~makes 6 drinks~

Ingredients:

** hot freshly brewed epresso coffee 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons**

** sugar 1/4 cup

** clear grappa (80 proof) 5 oz

** grand marnier 3 and 1/2 oz

** absinthe 3 and 1/2 oz

** lemon peels

* In a small saucepan, stir together epresso and sugar. Add grappa, grand marnier and absinthe; stir well. heat over medium heat just until mixture is warm and sugar is dissolved...don't boil...remove from heat.

Squeeze 1 lemon peels into a flame over the expresso miture, spraying the top with lemon essence. Garnish with lemon peels and serve warm.

Enjoy...yummy.
