At this moment I am preparing dinner of Mahi Mahi (fish) grilled to perfection with seasonings of garlic salt, butter and a dash of ginger with lime juice. Spinach and rice will accompany the fish with a bit of tomato and cuke salad on the side. Oh yes, several glasses of Wimea 2004 Savignon Blanc.

I've just made a grilled panini on sourdough bread with grilled chicken in balsamic dressing, calamati olives, sun dried tomatoes, cantaloupe and goat cheese. I've also made green beans with sesame seeds and a romaine salad with homemade croutons and tommos and spices from my garden.

For dessert, I'm going to have a bowl of different berries drizzled with raw brown sugar and Grand Marnier and vanilla ice cream.....ahhhhhh ......yummy...

I needed to treat myself tonight:wah:

It's going to be a scorcher today. So, I'm going to make dinner now and enjoy later....It's only 8 AM and already 85F going up to 100F later.

I'm going to make Giada's Penne with treviso and goat cheese.

Here's a link to the recipe...

My son has brought round Curried chicken, spicy chick peas and rice that he made this afternoon. So my dinner is just that

I have my family coming down to the beach next week, so I'm going to cook some homemade dinners for practice tonight and tomorrow.

I'm going to make homemade bread, banana bread, Irish brown bread, homemade pizza doughs that I'll roll out and bake so they can have their own smaller pizzas with their toppings that I'll put in a lazy susan. I know how to make the breads and dough so I'll do that next week. I'll make that dough in my breadmaker. The tomatoes and spices I'll get from my garden.

I'm also going to try again to make my own dough from scratch and put it through my pasta machine and make cheese tortellinis with broccoli. Then I'm going to make a pasta dish and add homemade arriabiata sauce. I'm not great at making my own pasta, but it comes out pretty well and the taste of fresh pasta is wonderful.

If I'm successful, I'll post some pics in my 'hot and spicy' thread. Wish me luck.
