Amber Alert Issued for 10 Year Old Oklahoma Girl

The Oklahoma State Police and the Purcell Police Department issued the Amber Alert after the girl was abducted on Thursday evening.

Jamie Rose Bolin, 10 years old. She's a white female, 4 feet tall, 110 pounds and was last seen wearing a pink shirt and blue jeans or white shorts and white tennis shoes.

She was likely abducted by a white male, 20 to 30 years old. He has dark hair.

The suspect is believed to be driving a dark blue Tahoe with partial Texas tag Z69. Vehicle was last seen in the Purcell area on the 13th of April. The vehicle will have dark tinted windows, large shiny wheels with the word "FOX" in the back window. The vehicle will possibly have the victims' green bicycle with white grips and white tires inside.

PURCELL, Okla. -- Authorities said a 10-year-old Purcell girl, missing since Wednesday and the subject of an Amber Alert since Thursday, was found dead late Friday afternoon.

Reading from a statement, Purcell Police Chief David Tompkins said that the Oklahoma medical examiner's office still needed to make a positive identification of the body but that they believed it was that of Jamie Rose Bolin, who had been missing since about 3:50 p.m. Wednesday. Authorities said she was last seen at the Purcell Library.

Tompkins said Kevin Ray Underwood, 26, had been taken into custody in connection with the case.

A sad end to a search for a missing girl

The body of a missing 10-year-old Oklahoma girl was found in an apartment near her home Friday, police said. Jamie Rose Bolin was last seen leaving a library on Wednesday. Now the McClain County District Attorney says he'll seek the death penalty against a 26-year-old man who lives in the apartment. Officials were releasing little information, but the district attorney said, "I have never, ever been involved ... in a death or a homicide that has been as atrocious and heinous and cruel as what I believe this little girl suffered before her death."

Police reveal grisly details of girl's killing

The man suspected of killing 10-year-old Jamie Rose Bolin hatched a gruesome plan to kidnap, rape, kill and cannibalize a victim, authorities in Oklahoma said Saturday. Evidence seized from Kevin Underwood's apartment included a decorative dagger, a hacksaw, and barbecue skewers, district attorney Tim Kuykendall said. Other individuals, including women and boys, may have been targeted "but Rose was the one who was selected for this plan," said Purcell Police Chief David Tomkins.

Suspect blogged about cannibalism

The man accused of killing a 10-year-old neighbor girl had kept an online diary where he joked about cannibalism, wrote about "dangerously weird fantasies" and said he'd be locked up if anyone knew what he was thinking. But his shocked mother says he was "a wonderful boy."

Dead girl's aunt demands execution

The aunt of the 10-year-old girl allegedly killed by a neighbor with cannibal fantasies said Monday she wanted him executed, as Kevin Underwood was arraigned on first-degree murder charges. Jamie Rose Bolin's body was found in a plastic tub hidden in his apartment in Purcell, south of Oklahoma City, prosecutors say. Her aunt, Linda Chiles, said: "I hope they give him the death penalty."
