This morning Tamsen and I went for a walk... the park has

walkways and we stayed on them because the grass was so wet.

At our turnaround point, we take a sidewalk (quiet street)

back to the car...

At one of the houses across the street a lady was out front

with her two kids, one little boy maybe about 3 and a few

months old baby in a fuzzy pink sleeper in her arms. (We're

talkin' CUTE!!) Well, the little boy sees Tamsen and starts

jumping up and down, yelling at his mom and yanking on her

shirt "Doggie, doggie can I pet the doggie"? The mom says

"That's a german shepherd" and tells him he'd have to ask

the lady first. So they proceed across the street and this

kid is just beside himself. I told him he could pet her

and then asked if he wanted to give her a cookie... you

shoulda seen the light in his eyes and furiously nodding his

head up and down. So I gave him a cookie to give her, and

she took it ever so gently... the mom kneels down on the

sidewalk still holding the baby and this baby is doing the

little baby chortle and kicking its' legs and arms waving

excitedly... Tamsen walks up and starts kissing little

precious pink baby hands, gently waving lowered tail...

little boy is so happy doggie likes his baby sister, too.

Mom and I just chatted a minute and all of a sudden, 3

little hellions on rollerblades came flying down the

sidewalk, before we could think to move they were around

us and jumping off curbs and away... Tamsen didn't

consider them for an instant. She just kept on lovin' up

these 2 little kids.

Man, do I ever love my girl!!
