A very dear friend had to send her much-beloved kitty girl to heaven

this morning.

Would all you animal lovers out there please join me in trying to

give her some comfort to help her through this sad time? I'll

make sure she sees it.

Death can't touch love. That bond can't be broken.

Anyone's who's ever had a pet knows or will know the pain of when they leave. We also know how much joy they bring to our lives and how much devotion they give us. Among animal lovers there are no strangers.

I am truly sorry for the heaviness in your heart and your sadness; I know those all too well. Know that your companion is free and at peace and with a happy soul. Know that she loves you and that she knows you love her too.

I lost a treasured friend today

The little one who used to lay

Her gentle head upon my knee

And share her silent thoughts with me...

She'll come no longer to my call

Retrieve no more her favorite ball

A voice far greater than my own

Has called her to His golden throne.

Although me eyes are filled with tears,

I thank Him for the happy years

He let her spend down here with me

And for her love and loyalty.

When it is time for me to go

And join her there, this much I know...

I shall not fear the transient glare

For she will run and greet with there .........

Every pet owner that has lost a beloved pet grieves with you...it's a terrible pain in yours and our hearts. As hard as it is to lose a pet that is part of your family, I believe we will all be reunited when we're called home.
