Beautiful animals! Unfortunately, I am scared to death of them from a bad experience when I was a child. My daughter is absolutely nuts about horses. 30 years old? What is the average life expectantcy of a horse?

Alway's lovely to watch horses at play & jumping. Some animals are better than the humans :driving:

First there's Delta, she's a six year old Quarter horse / Thoroughbred mare.

Your caution is quite understandable, I've had my share of unpleasant experiences myself. Most horses are sweet and wonderful to be around, but they can still be dangerous even for those with experience.

I wouldn't be surprised either, we had horses make it to late 30's. They were

Quarter/Arab or Quarter/Thoroughbred so all that hybrid vigor helped.

But we did also gently exercise them right up almost to the end, put light

little kids on them to walk around... and I know it helped. Good food and happy,

interesting lives always helps, too!!

I like Mike, a lot. Thanks for sharing your pics. And welcome!
