Thanks Lon. I was hoping for a personal opinion, positive or negative.

Always had really, really good dealings with them. Just finally had to

liquidate an account with them the other day, and person who helped

me couldn't have been more professional. Had the account for almost

20 years with nary a problem.

By way of example... the person helping me asked for my social security

number and since there were people nearby, I asked her if I could just

write it down, she said sure and handed me a slip of paper and pen.

A few minutes later, as we were wrapping things up, she said "Let me just

go put this through the shredder".

VERY professional.

Hope this helps you!

Thanks for being nosy. Keep it up. I did 2 interviews yesterday. They're supposed to decide if they want to go further and call me for 2 more interviews and testing.

The job is different than I'd first understood. They're not hiring for a leadership development slot. They're looking for leaders to go through their development training to become managers. 3-6 months of training to learn every aspect of the business, then (assuming successful completion) everybody will decide together where the best fit would be. This company is very career oriented rather than job oriented. Part of a manager's effectiveness rating is how many subordinates got promoted! That's my kind of company.

I just hope I'm banker material. I've always been blue-collar & military.

Ooh, that's exciting! That sounds like a great job opportunity...and you would be able to be placed where you're going to succeed! I hope you get the job.

Thanks. Fingers crossed!

I got a phone call last night from a modular home builder to interview for a sales position. I'll go to the interview just to hedge my bets.
